Secure Lodge
Sécure River Lodge is located on the Sécure River, surrounded by pristine jungle. With clean, crystal-clear waters and lush tropical vegetation, this destination offers anglers a unique connection to the Amazonian wilderness.
Fishing is done along the river banks, and sight casting is often possible. River transport is done in traditional wooden canoes (cuambas), hand-crafted from Chiman wood, which are either powered by hand or by motor.
In the upper reaches of the Sécure River, you can expect to catch dorado, some weighing over 13 kg. In addition to dorado, species such as pacú, moturo, surubi and yatorana are also common, offering different challenges and fishing techniques. Two smaller tributaries, the Ashahana and Maniquicito, offer the opportunity to catch really large dorado in small, crystal-clear pools.
The middle section of the river, running from the lodge towards the village of Ushwea, is shallow and open, with sand flats and submerged trees providing ideal places to catch dorado.

Built from sustainably harvested wood from the surrounding jungle, the camp offers a comfortable, authentic stay in the heart of the Amazon wilderness. There are five tented cabins that can accommodate up to six anglers, one guide and three non-anglers, for a total of ten people.
The rooms are comfortable and equipped with private bathrooms, hot water and electricity. Free Wi-Fi and laundry service are also available. Guests can enjoy international cuisine, complemented by a selection of fine Argentine, Chilean and Bolivian wines. The elegant living and dining area also features an all-inclusive bar with spirits, liqueurs and cocktails.
