Arroyo Pescado Lodge is located in the heart of Patagonia, just about 30 minutes from Esquel Airport in Chubut Province. Guests can also arrive via Bariloche Airport and enjoy a scenic 3.5-hour drive to the fishing lodge.
The property is spread over 12,000 hectares of private land, ensuring complete seclusion and authentic contact with the Patagonian wilderness. With panoramic views of the valleys and mountains, Arroyo Pescado is a paradise for fly fishing and adventure.
Within the estancia are 14 km of the Teka River and 9 km of the Arroyo Pescado River, both entirely within private territory. The destination offers crystal clear water, wild trout and complete solitude - ideal for lovers of dry fly fishing and sight fishing in unspoiled nature.

The Lodge is a restored Welsh farmhouse with three charming rooms that can accommodate up to six guests. This boutique approach provides a warm, intimate and very exclusive experience, perfect for travelers seeking privacy, authenticity and peace in the heart of Patagonia. The Arroyo Pescado River flows right next to the house, allowing direct access to exceptional fishing, while creating a constant connection with the natural rhythm and sounds of the valley.
We pay special attention to every detail, because we love what we do and want our guests to feel at home in this remote, historic and magical place.
This landscape carries stories written deep in its soil. In the early 20th century, this valley was home to Welsh-Argentine settler Llwyd ap Ivan – a pioneer and protector of the region. According to legend, he was killed by members of the infamous Wild Bunch gang, led by Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
These American outlaws, fleeing a series of robberies, hid deep in the remote valleys of Patagonia, leaving behind tales of hideouts, encounters, and unfulfilled legends. At Arroyo Pescado, you will walk the same paths, live on the same land, and experience a piece of history that still resonates among the mountains today.
